EMPOWERED made its debut in March 2009. Currently, EMPOWERED is a 40 page magazine that shares resource information for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.  Each issue is filled with information on accessing state and federal services specifically for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

EMPOWERED covers topics about accessible transportation, housing, school rights, employment (including entrepreneurship) and many more. We actively seek out topics from our readers to determine the content for upcoming issues. Have a topic that you would like to see in an upcoming issue?
