The path to services can feel like a maze. When you discover CAP services, the CAP waiting list can be long and/or frozen due to budgetary reasons. We understand that this often happens and we know that families need a break.

Team Daniel Foundation wants to provide families in North Carolina with an opportunity to receive 75 hours of respite services to
a family of a loved one with a developmental disability who receives no services and/or is on the waiting list for services.  Because the TDF Respite Fund serves siblings, families already served under the LLC will not be eligible for TDF Respite services.

Here is how you qualify for the 75 Respite hours:

• Carefully review the Respite Fund Policy (PDF)
• Complete an Admission Application (PDF)
• Identify an employee to perform the respite (employee must have valid First Aid and CPR certifications)
• Complete an Employee Application (PDF)
• Write a 300 word document explaining why you should be selected to receive the 75 Respite hours
